The TI Review Board reviews the operation of the Trusted Introducer and addresses all special issues that might result from its operation. Its history is detailed below:
1st year (September 2000-2001)
- The first Board is appointed from the TF-CSIRT community rather than elected as no accredited teams exist yet:
- Andrew Cormack, JANET-CERT;
- Brian Gilmore, Chair, TERENA;
- Christoph Graf, SWITCH-CERT;
- Karel Vietsch, Secretary, TERENA;
- Wilfried Wöber, ACOnet.
2nd year (September 2001-2002)
- Manchester, England, on Thursday 27 September 2001: the accredited teams elect 3 members to the Board and
appoint 2 members ex officio:
- Jimmy Arvidsson, Telia-CERT;
- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Andrew Cormack, JANET-CERT;
- Jacques Schuurman, CERT-NL;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;
- the Board itself appoints Andrew Cormack as chair for the year ahead.
3rd year (September 2002-2003)
- Syros, Greece, on 26 September 2002: the accredited teams elect 3 members to the Board and appoint 2 members
ex officio, bootstrapping a system of asynchronous three year terms for the elected Board members, so that each year
only ONE new member needs to be elected:
- Jimmy Arvidsson, Telia-CERT, for the term of TWO years;
- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Andrew Cormack, UKERNA, for the term of ONE year;
- Jacques Schuurman, CERT-NL, for the term of THREE years;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;
- the Board itself appoints Andrew Cormack as chair for the year ahead.
4th year (September 2003-2004)
- Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 25 September 2003: the accredited teams elect Marco Thorbrügge as successor
to Andrew Cormack in the Board:
- Jimmy Arvidsson, Telia-CERT, September 2002-2004;
- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Jacques Schuurman, CERT-NL, September 2002-2005;
- Marco Thorbrügge , DFN-CERT, September 2003-2006;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;
- the Board itself appoints Jacques Schuurman as chair for the year ahead.
5th year (September 2004-2005)
- Valetta, Malta, on 23 September 2004: the accredited teams elect Wilfried Wöber as
successor to Jimmy Arvidsson in the Board:
- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Jacques Schuurman, CERT-NL, September 2002-2005;
- Marco Thorbrügge , DFN-CERT, September 2003-2006;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;
- Wilfried Wöber, ACOnet-CERT, September 2004-2007;
- the Board itself appoints Jacques Schuurman as chair for the year ahead.
6th year (September 2005-2006)
- Lisbon, Portugal, on 15 September 2005: Marco Thorbrügge has made his position available shortly before
the meeting (due to a job change) - for the remainders of his term, Jimmy Arvidsson is elected. In the normal process,
the accredited teams re-elect Jacques Schuurman in the board:

- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Jacques Schuurman, SURFnet-CERT, September 2005-2008;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;

- the Board itself appoints Jacques Schuurman as chair for the year ahead.
7th year (September 2006-2007)
- Helsinki (Espoo), Finland, on 21 September 2006: the accredited teams re-elect Jimmy Arvidsson in the board:
- Jimmy Arvidsson , TS-CERT, September 2006-2009;
- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Jacques Schuurman, SURFnet-CERT, September 2005-2008;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;
- Wilfried Wöber, ACOnet-CERT, September 2004-2007;
- the Board itself appoints Jacques Schuurman as chair for the year ahead.
8th year (September 2007-2008)
- Porto, Portugal, on 20 September 2007: the accredited teams elect Chelo Malagon as successor to
Wilfried Wöber in the board:
- Jimmy Arvidsson , TS-CERT, September 2006-2009;
- Gorazd Bozic, ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair;
- Chelo Malagon, IRIS-CERT, September 2007-2010;
- Jacques Schuurman, SURFcert, September 2005-2008;
- Karel Vietsch, ex officio member on behalf of TERENA;
- the Board itself appoints Jacques Schuurman as chair for the year ahead.
9th year (September 2008-2009)
- Vienna, Austria, on 25 September 2008: the accredited teams elect Przemek Jaroszewski as successor to Jacques Schuurman in the board; Karel Vietsch, Secretary-General of TERENA, appoints Kevin Meynell to replace him as ex officio member on behalf of TERENA; Lionel Ferette takes the cue from Gorazd Bozic, as ex officio member as TF-CSIRT chair:
