 Summary  Registration  Accreditation

The Trusted Introducer (TI) is the trust network for CSIRTs or CERTs in Europe.

Any CSIRT function or team that provides incident management services is invited to register with the TI. Registration is subject to a vetting/review process which takes three to four weeks on average, but is free of charge. Once registered (also known as "listed"), the contact data of the team will be made publicly available by the TI.
To apply for registration ("listing") now jump to below.

To maintain your "listed" team data, or to find other team's data, consider the contact information of all registered ("listed") CSIRTs in Europe:

To register your CSIRT as "listed" follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the listing form.
  2. Send the filled-out form to the TI
  3. the TI will get back to you for confirmation and possibly additional questions - also the TI will ask if you know TI accredited teams who may support your "listing" request (you need two).
  4. Once the TI has sufficient information, the TI will consult the community of accredited teams on your "listing" request, allowing two weeks for reactions. This consultation process is confidential, and you will only hear the binary outcome. The simple positive case is where within the two weeks, two accredited teams will support your request, and none will object - then the outcome of your request will be POSITIVE. In all other cases, the TI will pass the matter on to the TI Review Board to decide on a POSITIVE or NEGATIVE outcome.
  5. Following the previous step, the outcome of your request will be communicated to you in binary form:
    • In case of a POSITIVE outcome your CSIRT will be "listed" right away. You can then immediately apply for accreditation.
    • In case of a NEGATIVE outcome your request is denied, and then you can re-apply exactly one year later. (Note: after three rejections a team will not be allowed to request for "listing" anymore.)
