77th TF-CSIRT Meeting, May 2026: Riga (Latvia)

11th – 13th May 2026 in Riga, Latvia

Three days (Monday to Wednesday) of open and restricted (formerly known as "closed") sessions, trainings and side meetings will be organized. Trainings will be on Monday!

The TF-CSIRT Steering Committee will meet face-to-face already on the 10th May.

The 77th TF-CSIRT Meeting will be held from 11 - 13 May 2026 in Riga,
Latvia, at the Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel

The event will include a meeting of the Steering Committee, which will take place at the same venue as the rest of the event – the Radisson Blu Daugava.

The hotel is approximately a 22 minute drive from the Riga International Airport.

Getting to the venue and city center from the airport:

• By bus: Take bus No. 22 from the airport. The closest stop to the meeting venue is “National Library”, which is just a short walk from the hotel.
• By taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport. But for a more cost-effective option, we recommend using the BOLT app.

11 May - Networking Evening in Old Town Riga

Join us for a relaxed evening with good food, great drinks, and even better company in the heart of Old Town Riga.
We’ll meet at the Radisson Blue Daugava hotel lobby at 17:30 and take a nice 25min walk through Old Town to the Duvel's Gastro Pub, known for its impressive selection of nearly 80 different beers.
Expect a relaxed vibe, tasty dinner, and plenty of time to network and chat with other fellow participants.

12 May - CERT.LV 15-Year Anniversary Dinner
Celebrate 15 years of CERT.LV with us during a special evening at the Latvian National Library.
The dinner will take place at Restaurant Klīversala, just a nice 5-minute walk from the conference venue. Before dinner, participants are invited to join a complimentary visit to the top of the library, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views over Riga

In May it is usually pleasant, as it is a transitional spring weather. Daytime hights are around 15-17°C (59-63 °F). Nights will be cooler, dipping down to 7-8°C (45-46 °F). Most folks would consider this moderately chilly and breezy, expect some moderate rainfall and increasing sunshine as the month progress. (Our mothers would recommend "layers for varying temperatures"!)

Some local Activities recommended by ourselves and the local host:

• Art Nouveau Architecture: Riga is known for its stunning Art Nouveau buildings, and in May, the city comes alive with guided tours that showcase the best examples of this architectural style. Visitors can learn about the history and significance of Art Nouveau in Riga while admiring the intricate facades and ornate details of these beautiful buildings.
• Day Trip to Jurmala: May is the perfect time to visit the seaside beaches and town of Jurmala, located just a short drive from Riga. (Be aware that you need extra tickets for your car, they take pictures - based on personal experience!)
